LogFusion

In case you are a network or a system administrator, then you know how important it is to read log files from time to time, especially when an error occurs and you want to find out its cause, so you can fix the problem. Still, it's sometimes not enough to read log files using Notepad or Wordpad and you may need a specialized application for this task.

In this situation, you could just use LogFusion, a Windows program which was specially designed for helping you read any kind of log file. After installing the application using its step by step installation wizard, you will be presented with a simple and basic interface, in which you can load a new log file just by accessing the top graphical toolbar. LogFusion is compatible with virtually any log file format, no matter how large the log file is.

After loading the log file, you will notice that each text line has a number next to it. This is useful when you want to quickly go to a certain error in the log file but you only have the line number where the error is located. Another useful feature is the possibility of highlighting certain phrases or words inside the log file. Besides opening log files generated by certain applications, LogFusion can also open logs which are generated by Windows and Windows tools, like Internet Explorer. The program can even show logs generated by hardware devices, which are useful for finding device errors.

In order to quickly navigate through several log files, the program's interface uses several tabs and each time you open a new log file, a new tab is created.
